Why should I choose Tidewater Boats

Tidewater Boats began in 2006 with a goal to build quality offshore fishing boats at an affordable price. The owners of this new brand were previously designers and owners of the original Sea Pro Boats. Their passion for boat building led to a distinctive, solid, mid-tier coastal Carolina boat. Manufactured in Lexington, SC, Tidewater offers bay boats and center consoles from 18 to 32 feet.
Already knowing what boaters desired, they had key points they wanted to establish in their brand. First, and the most easily recognizable, is a distinctive Carolina bow flare and beautiful shear line that sets it apart on the water. In addition to its beauty, the flare, deep dead rise and reverse chine provides a very dry and comfortable ride in any condition. Second is the fact that they foam fill not only the bottom, but also the hull sides. This foam creates an extremely solid and quiet ride. Lastly is Tidewater’s Corrugated Grid Stringer Vertebra (CGSV). CGSV is designed for each model to ensure components are supported and provide strength with the foam filled hull.
Tidewater offers bay boats in their Bay Max and Carolina bay series ranging in size from 19 to 27 feet. Both models offer dual live wells, large consoles and ample bow and deck casting areas. Additionally, the Carolina Bay series from 20 to 27 feet has a much larger bow casting area and more flair for improved ride in rougher conditions.
Tidewater center consoles range from 18 to 32 feet and are offered in the Adventure series as well as the LXF series. The Adventure series is designed with fishermen in mind with more cockpit floor space aft and rod holders abundant. The LXF series, built on the same aggressive hull, offers full bench seating aft as well as additional lounge seating in the bow area. Both models have their unique hinged bow backrests and cushion seating making them family friendly.
We power our Tidewater Boats with two of the top engine brands out there: Yamaha and Mercury. Yamaha has consistently been a great package with the Tidewater Boats providing the performance customers are seeking. The same can be said for Mercury. In addition, Mercury recently launched almost 20 new V6 and V8 four stroke naturally aspirated models from 175 to 300 hp. Mercury’s focus on reduced noise vibration, quiet, durable and powerful are sure to compliment the Tidewater Boats well.
For the 2019 model year, Tidewater has stepped up to differentiate themselves from their competition with their three year LifePlus bow to stern warranty compared to traditional one year. You combine that with their limited lifetime structural warranty for a boat that will stand the test of time.
Tidewater competes with many of the other South Carolina built boats that include Sea Hunt, Sportsman, Key West and Sea Pro.
